
River City Writers
Welcome to the River City Writer’s Group website. I’m Claudia Oltean, group leader. We are a Jacksonville-area chapter of the Florida Writer’s Association. Our meetings are open to anyone with an interest in writing fiction or non-fiction and to those who are new to writing, have unpublished material, or are indie or traditionally-published authors.
To attend our meetings you do not have to be a member of the Florida Writer’s Association and there is no charge.
We will meet on the second Saturday of each month at the Southeast Regional Public Library, 10599 Deerwood Park Blvd. Jacksonville, Fl. 32256. See meeting times below.

—Saturday, May 13 Armand Rosamilia on Writing Multi-Genre/Various Forms of Fiction.
—Saturday, June 10 Speaker is author Terry Williams. Topic is How a Career In Intelligence Led to a Second Career as a Spy Novelist.
—Saturday, July 8 Speaker is Dr. Edward Mickolus and the topic is Public Speaking For Authors.
