Welcome to the River City Writers Group website. I’m Claudia Oltean, group leader. We are a Jacksonville-area chapter of the Florida Writer’s Association. Our meetings are open to anyone with an interest in writing fiction or non-fiction and to those who are new to writing, have unpublished material, or are indie or traditionally-published authors.
To attend our meetings you do not have to be a member of the Florida Writer’s Association and there is no charge.
We meet on the second Saturday of each month at the Southeast Regional Public Library, 10599 Deerwood Park Blvd. Jacksonville, Fl. 32256. See meeting times below.

—Saturday, August 8 Author and Marketing Expert Joni Fisher joins us to present "Writing Quotable Dialogue." Room/Time TBA
—Saturday, September 12 Authors Tracy Tripp and Dr Edward Mickolus will discuss the process of collaborating on their novel "White Noise Whispers." Room and Time TBA.
